A serpent by the name of Colby Itkowitz wrote an article for the Washington Post titled, "What is this election missing? Empathy for Trump voters." He tried to lay it out in a way to gain understanding for White rural people with low incomes and trying to place them into the same boat as African Americans. They have White privilege which comes with unspoken benefits, so he can save that.
Empathy? I have none, and Sisters and Brothas of sound mind and judgement shouldn't have any either. It doesn't matter if you believe in God or not. Majority non-Black people, specifically White people voted heavily for Trump even with the hate groups he courted for support. Some happen to subscribe to the beliefs of these groups if they aren't members themselves.
Empathy is something Black people have possessed for quite some time, and it's been to a fault. Look at what your empathy has gotten you. Now some of these people will be emboldened by a man who is anti-Black. A man who showed how he feels about women and more than 50% of white women, which include feminists, voted for him anyway. Have no sympathy for them, and don't give them any access to anything beneficial that you have to offer, the ball is in your court. If he begins to piss on them, then it's something they signed up for in hopes that he would only affect us.
"Make America Great Again" is coded language. America was never great for Black people, even when our Brothas and Sistas knew the value of a Black economy because serpents went in and destroyed it for the purpose of placing us in a role where we have our hand out to non-Black people. You can't pull yourself up by your bootstraps when the boots are being stolen or destroyed. So to hell with empathy for these voters, let them own their decision and watch your back because some of these serpents will get stupid just to test the waters to see what they can get away with under the presidency of Donald Trump. Give an inch of empathy and a mile will be taken and used against you. It's not just White people, non-Black people of many types have voted for this serpent.
Reminder this stuff because it gives you a better idea of the landscape we're in as Black people, if the multiple cases of obvious anti-Black haven't proved it to you before.
