Defending FBA Businesses Against Noise Ordinance Violations

To defend your business against false noise complaints and potential racial discrimination, you must shift from a defensive posture to an offensive one by building an undeniable "wall of evidence." As a strategist, I recommend a three-pillar approach: Third-Party Verification, Legal Notice, and Political Engagement. In this case, we will use the Hidden History Museum, but you can apply this to your business and tweak it to the location. Since I don't see Black lawyers coming through on this situation, I will. Let's keep growing and reinforcing the things we build.

1. Execute Professional Sound Testing & Certification

You need a "Certificate of Compliance" from an accredited third-party to silence false claims.

• The Test: Hire an acoustical consultant to perform a Noise Impact Assessment or Sound Survey. They will measure decibel levels at your property line while your music is at its maximum "safe" level.
• The "Cap": Have the technician identify the specific decibel limit at which sound becomes audible outside. Use this to set a physical "limiter" on your sound system so it cannot technically exceed that volume.
• Local Experts: Contact firms like Noise Monitoring Services or eNoise Control, which specialize in Los Angeles Noise Code compliance.

2. Issue a Formal Legal "Notice of Compliance"

Once you have the certified report, do not just tell the neighbors; put them on legal notice.

• Cease and Desist: Have an attorney draft a letter to the complaining businesses. This letter should include the third-party sound report and state that further false reports will be viewed as harassment or defamation (slander).
• Discrimination Warning: Explicitly mention that because your business is in full compliance, targeted complaints against a Black-owned business may constitute a violation of the Unruh Civil Rights Act, which protects against arbitrary discrimination by business establishments in California.

3. Neutralize the City Council & Authorities

Prevent the city from taking action based on lies by being the first to provide the facts.

• Submit the Record: Proactively send your certified sound report and a log of ambient noise in the Arlington/Jefferson area to the Los Angeles City Council and the local LAPD precinct's non-emergency line.
• The "Ambient Noise" Defense: Your report should highlight that the "noise" neighbors hear is the existing high-activity environment of the area, not your business.
• Log Everything: Keep a daily log of your music volume levels and any external noise you hear from other sources to contrast with their false claims.

Good News: The Hidden History Museum

When we work together, we can do things the enemy can't stop.

I'm not saying any names, but there were a few people who said that they weren't going to help Tariq acquire property for him and his family. When they turn off the hater-vision, they will see that the money helped a Black man obtain property for a museum that will fight against the enemy trying to bury our history. Not just bury it, they want to bury it, cover up the burial ground, and then revise what occurred. The Devil's Kin hate the truth, and our children need a place to go for the facts.

Dead people can't talk, and rather than a group of people bumping heads, he took the initiative and got this done while being backed by a number of us willing to back him. Not all crowdfunds are met, and there are some that are met but the people pushing it take the money and run. Did he do that? No.

He was mocked while in the pursuit of the museum that our people and the world can go to in order to get the truth about us as Foundational Black Americans. The funding was met, and he was mocked again with a side eye from the enemies among us who questioned if he'd actually follow through.

I don't know if he was listening or not, but a previous post that I put out shared my hope that he'd fall back on the public discussion about trying to acquire the property until it was actually obtained. I listed valid reasons because saboteurs are alive and well on all sides. It became out of sight out of mind in my opinion and he was able to roll a bit more smoothly. Not only that, think of what the space can do for events. It can open the door for on-code events that aren't just held by Tariq. So if you have something you'd like to host at a nice location, that's a potential space. Also, don't forget, Tariq comes through when people hit a wall with the enemy and need some assistance. For the non-FBA, I don't think he's ever asked if the Black person was FBA or not as long as they were Riders who got caught up.

This wouldn't be money that he would just stash, check his track record. I'm not here to fight for the man, but haters need to think.

Aside from that, look at the website he raised the money on, what does that site represent? It represents indie projects. You can try and raise money for your own projects as well, no one's stopping you.

What projects do you seek to bring to light that the community get behind? If it makes sense, a number of us will back it so you can fly.

Using White Trojan Horses

By now, Brotha Tariq Nasheed, has noticed the error of being a bit more public when it came to discussing the purchase of the desired Crenshaw property for the Hidden History Museum. I know that he needed to do it for the crowdfund, but strategically, I would've kept the location on a hush. This isn't to poke fun or act like I know it all, I put in on the crowdfund also, but it's one to learn from. Always look for those teachable moments when it comes to life and how to one up the filthy White Supremacist, because they stop at nothing to hinder the betterment of Black Americans.

When it comes to purchasing property for the museum, I believe it should be a bit more private until the purchase is finalized. It's like the White appraisers giving Black home owners lower values on their homes, we know how the Devil's Kin operate. They will play the typical games of deception that the Devil is known for while telling you they aren't White Supremacists, so we have to one up them, just like certain Black home owners did to get their properties valued much higher. They used White Trojan horses to get the job done.

Tariq, can also purchase the property anonymously. Currently, buyers can hide their identities by purchasing a property through a limited liability company (LLC) or other entities that can prevent their names from being attached to an address. It's none of their God Damned business who wants to buy the property anyway, but America runs on White Supremacy, so we have to keep things on the hush.

One thing that was discussed years ago in Future Prep was the value of being subtle with certain things, and I know that Tariq using a White Trojan horse or going ghost on this will result in a purchase quicker and in a more desired location. I look forward to the purchase being made so that the build can began, but I do urge everyone who put in on it to be chill for now. 

I know you want your money to be put to use ASAP, I want the same for mine, but we live in a place where these demons don't even want to give us what they owe us. It appears as if he's pushing to make this happen as soon as he can, so I'll take his word for it based on his track record. I say that to say, don't ask in public spaces about the progress of the purchase, he has to go ghost on this one in my opinion. He can touch base once the purchase is finalized. 

If you feel some kinda way about that, think about ideas you might have, you don't want anyone to steal them so you keep them on the low until you can release them. You can't even mention a domain name in front of some people because they'll buy the shit before you can so they can ransom it off to you for more. So let's stop talking about it, and I hope Tariq reads this post or considers the idea of being subtle on his own so these demons don't attempt to get in the way again. They can't stop what they don't know about.
